San Buenaventura Mission established an Archival Center in 2012. In addition to the artifacts on public display in the Mission Museum adjacent the Gift Shop, the Archival Center houses documents and other memorabilia associated with San Buenaventura Mission.
The Archival Center is not open to the public presently as it is staffed by part-time volunteers who evaluate, catalogue, and file relevant historical information specific to San Buenaventura Mission.
Requests for Sacramental records to be sent to another parish for marriage preparation or other sacraments preparation should be directed to the Parish Office (805) 643-4318.
Processing other requests for historical document information is limited to time availability of the volunteer archivists. The contact information for requests is listed below.
